Body Contact Clinic – 4 Week Development Course

This 4-week Body Contact Clinic is built to help players become more confident, physical, and effective in competitive hockey situations. Body contact is about far more than just hitting — it’s about positioning, balance, confidence, and learning how to safely compete for pucks in all areas of the ice.

Throughout this course, players will focus on:
• Safe body contact fundamentals
• Delivering and receiving contact properly
• Angling and positioning techniques
• Winning board battles and loose puck races
• Puck protection under pressure
• Balance and strength through contact
• Playing aggressive while staying controlled
• Building confidence in physical game situations

Players should expect a high-energy environment with battle drills, controlled contact situations, and game-like scenarios designed to teach players how to play physical hockey the right way. A strong emphasis will always remain on safety, awareness, and proper technique while encouraging players to compete hard and challenge themselves.

The overall goal of this clinic is to help players become stronger competitors who are comfortable with physical play, understand how to use body positioning to their advantage, and can confidently battle for pucks and space anywhere on the ice.
